Among the many autumn Pu'Erh we tasted during our last trip, our preference went to "Mao Cha" from Heka areai. After comparative tastings of several lots and "blind test", we finally found the one we like! It comes from Guan Bie village. It is a small crop of very old tea trees picked early October 2015, small leaves with a good amount  of buds.
 
Notes on tasting (7 grams of tea in a 120 ml porcelain Gaiwan - short and multiple brewings).
The dried leaves have a slight chocolate flavor.
The liquor is gold; slightly hazy on the first passages it becomes clear, bright, with hints of green. In the empty cup, it offers a fresh herbaceous scent,, with notes of iodine and a fleeting  bitter almond scent. One then discovers a floral / fruity bouquet which develops over infusions, with  sweet and milky notes. In the mouth, the aromas are floral and green (fresh grass, wood) one also distinguishes licorice, a note of citrus zest, slightly aniseed flavor and marine hint .Astringency turns gradually but without excess. The bitterness is fine. It is a tonic raw Pu'erh with hot qi, to let ageing.
